Our Expertise

Metal-framing Wall Structures

metal framing
  • Convenience: It weighs less, takes up half the space, easier to transport and storage cuts with aviation snips, no sawdust.
  • Ease of installation: Easier to handle and can be installed at 24 inches on center.
  • Stability: No twisting and warping; does not wick moisture; will not promote mold growth and rot.
  • Strength: Ideal for construction in high-wind and seismic zones i.e. U. S. eastern seaboard and the Gulf Coast states.
  • Insects and Fire: Resistant to carpenter ants and termites and a wall built with metal studs is virtually fireproof.
  • Lower construction costs: Fewer returns due to defects, consistent quality, lower waste disposal, and lower insurance costs

Multi-Environmental Drywall Options

drywall
  • Regular Drywall or White Board The most economic drywall type and comes in different sizes ranging in thickness from 3/8” to 1”.
  • Green Board Drywall The moisture-resistant drywall is more resistant to moisture than regular drywall, but somewhat more expensive. It is not waterproof, but it is often used as a tile backer in limited wet areas such as bathroom, basement walls, kitchens, and laundry/utility rooms.
  • Blue Board Drywall Also known as plaster baseboard, it has a high water and mold. Well suited for bathrooms or places with a lot of moisture and helps reduce noise.
  • Paperless Drywall This type of drywall is covered with protective fiberglass instead of paper to resist rot, mold, and mildew.
  • Purple Drywall This type offers superior moisture-resistant and mold-resistant characteristics in direct contact with water.
  • Type X Drywall The so-called fire-resistant drywall is made with special noncombustible fibers. It normally comes in 5/8-inch thickness and its extra thickness can also improve its soundproofing characteristics.
  • Soundproof Drywall It is composed of laminated drywall made with a mix of wood fibers, gypsum, and polymers increasing the STC (sound transmission class).

Interior and Exterior Stucco Applications

preconstruction
  • Roughcast Style Finish Widely known because of its highly textured gravel look, you can choose from light or dense texture.
  • Montalvo or California Finish A smooth surface with small to large rough areas are called “cat faces” and are achieved with two layers, first a rough coat, and then a smooth layer that allows the cat faces to peek through.
  • Sand Finish Also known as a float finish, it uses a foam float to obtain a fine, medium, or rough style. They are perfect for hiding imperfections and are easy to patch up as well.
  • Spanish Lace Finish It is often called skip-trowel finish as well and works well with both homes and offices. Choose between a fine, medium, and coarse style.
  • Santa Barbara Finish This California adobe style finish has small sand particles that give it the semi-smooth texture.
  • Worm Finish This style consists of small indentations or grooves on the stucco. Use a synthetic stucco with a fine, medium, or a heavy finish.
  • Smooth Finish Choose from a wide variety of colors for your application and opt for either synthetic or acrylic stucco depending on the environment.
